Prachi Shah is Miss Mumbai Online 2016

Mumbai city-based 22-year-old Prachi Shah was today declared the Miss Mumbai Online 2016 winner after slugging it out with over 200 participants in a fierce online fight. Miss Mumbai Online is part of the Mr, Miss and Mrs Mumbai clutch of pageants organized by PageantsWorld.com and supported by IndyaNewz.com and is the online version of the actual event. Participants vie for votes, shares and likes primarily on Facebook and other social forums.


Prachi was selected after she bagged the maximum number of votes in the online voting category which includes votes, shares, LIKES and comments posted by friends and fans on Facebook and other social networking sites. Prachi who is also an aspiring actor, studied in Mumbai and currently works for a lifestyle and fashion brand in South Mumbai. A Taurus, Prachi loves watching TV and listening to music in her free time.

The finale for the Mr, Ms & Mrs Mumbai 2016 pageant will be held in Mumbai around June-end-July and about 60 male and female participants are busy grooming themselves for the event.

Speaking to this reporter, Prachi said, “I want to pursue a career in acting. Acting has always been my dream. I started modeling a few months ago and I am simply thrilled to win this pageant. My focus and target is now the finale of the Miss Mumbai Pageant and then to pursue a career in acting.” Prachi has done several print catalog shoots and other assignments over the last few months.
